Me & Baffo (the best Gelato ever)
Hi everyone,
Just back from a week in Twinkle Town and what a lovely week it was catching up with everyone and feeling like things are finally getting back to normal was joyful and filled me with love and happiness.
My first stop of course, was to see Baffo and have my favourite Gelato, Stracciatella & Chocolate, he was so happy to see me, and hear the news about all the weddings this year and next.
I stayed at the Palazzo Belmonte and had the most amazing time. The Palazzo has recently changed hands and is now being looked after by two princesses, Sofia & Francesca. The Palazzo is their family home, and they grew up there as children. I was made to feel so welcome and I would like to say a massive Grazie Mille to them.
The Palazzo Belmonte is the most incredible place to host a wedding as it offers many location within the grounds for ceremony, aperitivo, dinner and dancing, so you really can delight and surprise your guests on the wedding day.
Also during my trip, I had the chance to visit the town hall and say CIAO to Marco Rizzo, the new mayor, he assured me that he and his team would be looking forward to welcoming everyone to the town over the coming years.
I checked all the hotel bookings, met up with some new bar/restaurant owners, and learned of some new excursions, (more to come on this next week)
I also had some time to sit by the sea and recharge, I felt the sea breeze, tasted the salty sea air, collected some shells and just reflected on how lucky I was to have found Santa Maria over 18 years ago. So many couples are coming back to visit this year, and I cannot wait to see them and meet their children.
Bella, Bella, Bella Santa Maria, here is to a year of making wedding dreams come true, and having the most amazing time!
I am feeling the love and cannot wait to share My Secret Italy with you all....

This morning I woke up and smiled.
Today was going to be different. I am going to Italy! 🇮🇪
I am finally back to doing what I love to do, planning magical weddings in Italy.
Today I will arrive in one of Italy's prettiest towns, Certaldo, and stay for 4 nights.
I will be seeing new places and meeting new faces, and I could not be more excited that
F I N A L L Y weddings are back on track. I will be talking food choices, flowers, & generally wandering around looking for ways to add magical touches to the wedding My Secret Italy is planning for August 3 this year, for @sarahbrattesani & Gordon. ✨
I will be checking out some new venues and posting lots of photos & stories coming over the next few days.
More than this, I am looking forward to feeling the Italian sunshine warming my face, having a coffee in the little square, and enjoying the feeling of Spring in the air...
I am visiting Certaldo and San Gimignano and my taxi will be picking me up in an hour, so last-minute packing and an exciting few days ahead...

So, I have just updated the diary with all the lovely weddings we have booked for this year, and can say, (drum roll.....) there are still 2 possible weeks THIS summer for anyone considering a last-minute wedding in Santa Maria di Castellabate
There is still time & it is not too late.
As you may know, I only plan one wedding a week in Santa Maria as I like to give you and your guests the love and help you need whilst you are in Italy, taking care of everything, from hotel bookings, transfers, days out & More.....

Kate & Rob enjoying an Aperol Spritz or two at Le Gatte, the night before the wedding. This photo was taken on the little harbour wall in front of Le Gatte in Santa Maria di Castellabate. The perfect spot to watch the sunset with your family and friends before the wedding day.
All their friends were finally (after 2 postponements) gathered together and the celebrations began right here at this moment.
Everyone had arrived & had checked into their hotels, the sun had been shining all day and everyone was feeling relaxed and excited about the wedding the following day at the Palazzo Belmonte, Italy

I remember looking over at K & R and feeling the love and I was so happy that their dream wedding was FINALLY taking place.
Lots of couples have this same moment to look forward to this year or next. I am beyond excited for this summer and looking forward to a pre-season visit to Twinkle Town, very soon.
